I am typically pretty content to kick it behind the scenes and let Ryan do most of the talking, but what the hell. I’ve got nothing to do while Beau and Zach set up drums, so here it goes…
We’ve been busting our asses these last four days. Since Ryan and I live a considerable distance from the studio, we’ve been crashing here. It makes our lives a lot easier. Now we can work crazy long hours, wake up, and do it again. In our pajamas.
Bitchin’ Grinch PJs aside, we’ve been super productive. We’re about halfway through tracking the drums and bass, and it’s sounding super-fly. It was a blast tracking to tape for the first time…

Ryan’s drum takes are sounding great. For a dude that sings, plays guitar, and keys in this band, he can tear it up behind that kit. Seriously, look at this:

Needless to say, our plates are full trying to assemble an album and play everything ourselves. We’re super fortunate to have Zach and Beau around to help us make sure our tracks sound as badass coming out of your speakers as they do in our minds.
